2017 was an innocent year, one where no one could predict the colossal effect the inaugural Clusterfest would have on the comedy landscape. Well, like, everyone who was working tirelessly to deliver an incredible festival had an idea of what was to come... But the world at large? Naive as a newborn. The 2017 festival featured a lineup of Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Tig Notaro, Pete Davidson (pre-Ariana, a rare sight), 2 Dope Queens, Vince Staples, Lizzo, to name just some of the highlights. Broad City’s Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson led an excellent (!) live reading of Wayne’s World with Tia Carrere herself. In between sets you could experience South Park like never before, and check out replicas of Paddy’s Pub and Seinfeld’s apartment, though drinks were only served in one of those exhibits.

2017 was Clusterfest’s debut to society as a gorgeous, eligible, and promising festival. It was ready to f*ck.
