What are the festival hours?

Friday 5 PM-11 PM, Saturday 2 PM-11 PM and Sunday 2 PM-10 PM.

Where is Colossal Clusterfest?

The festival will take place at Civic Center Plaza and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. These two venues will merge to create one mega-venue with indoor and outdoor stages as well as attractions to suit all of your festing needs.

How do I get there?

Parking in the area is going to be tough. Public transportation to and from the festival is widely available, affordable, and often times dependable. BART and MUNI lines are nearby.

Are children allowed?

This is an all ages festival but we’re not about to ask comedians to watch their mouths. Your kids may leave with unexpectedly expanded vocabularies and knowledge.

Can I exit and re-enter the festival?

In general, re-entry is not allowed. You may enter the festival gates once each day. However, if you absolutely must leave the festival and need to return the same day, you must speak with a supervisor at any festival entrance or exit BEFORE LEAVING to be scanned out. Yes, it is as complicated as it sounds. We do not recommend it. And, yes, we realize it would be much easier to just tell you “no.”

Will there be physical tickets or wristbands?

All tickets will come in the form of a wristband. Stylish! If you purchase your ticket closer to the festival and we are unable to ship the wristband to you, you will receive instructions on where to pick your wristband up. If you do not like instructions, we get it. Rebellion is cool, but if you want to get in, you have to play ball.

For more information on wristbands click here.

I'm unable to go all three days. Can I share my wristband with a friend?

You will receive ONE wristband that grants you access to all three days of the festival. It cannot be removed once put on. If security suspects that your wristband has been tampered with, it will be void, and you will not be given access to the festival. Friendship is not worth missing out on this killer lineup.

Is there a mobile app?

The official mobile app is now available for iOS and Android! Search Clusterfest in your smartphone’s app store.

P.S. make sure you download it too! :D

Will there be limitations on when and how I can use my cell phone?

Due to artist sensitivities, there will be restricted use of phones, cameras and other recording devices at Clusterfest. In general, you may not record comedy performances in any way, shape or form at this event. Failure to adhere to this rule will be grounds for ejection with no reentry. During certain performances, additional measures will be taken to ensure that no recording is captured from the audience. Please read more about the implementation of Yondr pouches at Clusterfest here.

I bought tickets from a "friend" / scalper / third party / some dude off Craigslist. How can I verify this pass will work or that it’s legit?

We can only guarantee ticket validity for purchases made through our official vendor, Front Gate Tickets. Any other ticket source could get a little sketchy.

Can somebody else pick up my tickets for me?

Tickets may only be picked up by the original buyer with valid photo ID.

Will vendors accept debit or credit cards? Should I bring cash?

Most vendors will accept debit or credit cards, but there will also be ATMs located throughout the festival site in case our technology turns against us and we need to revert to medieval forms of payment.

Will there be a Lost & Found?

Lost & Found will be held at an Info Booth on-site. The festival will also be a great opportunity to find yourself.

Will there be ATMs?

Yes. We’re very tech savvy.

Will there be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food options?

Yes. We will have a variety of vendors that will sell vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food items.

Queuing Etiquette

While waiting in line is never ideal, it can be fun — make a friend, respect those around you, and make the best of it. Please don’t pull the chat and cut.

Limited Capacity

The festival will feature stages of all shapes and sizes. In order to capture the proper intimate environment for certain performances, some venues will be limited capacity. Please prioritize what you want to see and plan to get there early. Keep in mind, most artists will have multiple performances.

Photo / Video Policy + Cell Phone Usage

PLEASE don’t film or take photos of comedy shows. Break this rule and you will be ejected. Comedians work hard to produce fresh, original material. Respect the artist by keeping the show onstage, not online.

Heckling / Talking

Heckling and conversation during comedy performances is distracting to the performers, and rude to your fellow festival-goers. This behavior will not be tolerated and, if necessary, will result in ejection from the show. It’s easy. Just don’t be an asshole.

Respect for Local Community and Surrounding Areas

Please respect the area surrounding the festival — keep the noise down after the show has concluded, and don’t make a mess inside or out of Civic Center Plaza. Remember we are the guests of the city of San Francisco and neighboring community. As previously mentioned above, just don’t be an asshole.

Harassment of Talent and Other Attendees

Harassment ain’t cool — be nice, respect one another, and we’ll get along just fine.
